CARES® Dementia Specialists Mean Exceptional Dementia Care
When someone you love is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another type of dementia, you need a care partner who is fully trained and experienced in the many nuances of dementia care. For your reassurance and peace of mind, we employ caregivers who are trained and supervised by RNs who are CARES® Dementia Specialists. To achieve this credentialed status, care professionals must successfully complete 40 hours of specialized dementia care training, pass a CARES® Dementia Specialist exam, and renew their certifications every two years. Currently, 20% of our staff are CARES® Dementia Specialists, and our goal is to have over 50% of our staff certified by the end of 2025.

CARES is the only online dementia care training program that is recognized by the CMS to meet the Section 6121 training requirements of the Affordable Care Act for enhanced nursing aide training.
